Closed Chapter Ride

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release.

3 Ferries Ride

There once were dozens of ferries crossing the Willamette River but now only three are still operating. Come ride the Canby, Buena Vista, and the Wheatland Ferry. The Chapter will pay the cost of the Ferry rides. You will also see lots of the Willamette Valley county side. Maybe even an Osprey or two.

Arrive: 9:00 am

KSU: 9:30 am

 

Lunch: Independence City Park, Brown Bag or you can get take out from the local restaurant's

Misty Mountain Ride

This ride is the best of the westside county ride. We will leave Paradise and head out over Hwy 47 to Vernonia for our first stop. Then it back on Hwy 47 to Hwy 202 through Mist to the town a Jewel where we turn onto the best motorcycle road on the west side, Hwy 103. This will exit onto Hwy 26 and our lunch stop will be the Elderberry Inn. After Lunch, we will jump back onto 26 to Timber road and climb through the hills to the town of Timber coming out to Hwy 6. We will head east of Hwy 6 and stop at Gales Creek Shell for a comfort stop.

Ride to Silver Falls State Park

Ride the back roads along the Clackamas River and out through Springwater and southern Clackamas County to Silver Falls State Park. We will loop around the park and stop at the main entrance for a photo before continuing to the north parking lot for a restroom break, photos, and lunch. (*** Please note, there is no waterfall to see at the north parking lot***). We will not be stopping at the south parking lot due to the cost of parking.  After lunch, the group will ride north to Mt Angle then west to St. Paul, up Hwy 219 to Hwy 99, and back to Paradise HD.

Mt. Angel Ride

A leisurely romp thru the backroads of Clackamas County ending with lots of German food.
