Closed Chapter Ride

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release.

Beaver Ride

Nice easy and curvy ride through back roads to Beaver, Oregon, and then back home via Hwy 6 and then some back roads.

Arrive 9:00 am
KSU: 9:30 am

Lunch: Alice's Country House or brown bag. Bring a Lunch or eat your own brown bag lunch outside at Alice's Country House restaurant.

Covered Bridges Ride

This is a great ride we haven't done in a couple of years. We will visit 7 covered bridges in Marion and Linn Counties. The group will stop for pictures at each bridge. Lunch will be in Aumsville and we will take a group picture at the last bridge. Gallon Bridge is the oldest covered bridge in Oregon.

This will be an all-day ride that all skill levels can enjoy. There will be gas stops for those with small tanks.

Parkdale Blossom Ride

Let's enjoy a ride across the Columbia River and East to Hood River, ride around the backside of Mt. Hood to Parkdale Grange in Parkdale, OR.

Columbia Bridge Toll paid by the Chapter.

Arrive: 9:30 am

KSU: 10:00 am

Lunch: Brown Bag Lunch  There are a couple of places to get a to-go lunch but they are only letting one person in at a time.

Helvetia Tavern Mid-Week Ride

The ride will start at Paradise HD and the ride will take us through the valleys and hills of NW Washington County. There are great views and many winding and twisty roads. Most all riders will be comfortable on this ride and we will stop for lunch at Helvetia Tavern---large covered patio----cash only. We will wind down through Hillsboro and take back roads back to Paradise HD. The only freeway will be Highway 26 for about 2 miles

2021 Ride 365 Mileage Registrations

Let's Get Ready to Rumble & Ride365

Donuts for Everyone for showing up at Paradise H-D on Saturday, January 2nd between 10:00 am & 2:00 pm to record your starting miles for 2021’s Ride365.  It's easy....Just bring your HOG card/number, if you have it (it makes it easier for PHD)  & a picture of your bike’s miles, if it's not nice enough to ride that day.

Ron G. has been collecting donations to support our veterans. Please join Gary in riding to the Oregon Veterans home in The Dalles to deliver the donation on behalf of our Sunset Chapter on Saturday, November 14th, to thank and honor our veterans. Lunch will be before going to the veteran's home at Big Jim's Driven In or you can bring a brown bag lunch.
