It’ll be a great day of riding in scenic Oregon and scenic Washington with the pleasure of getting a close look at two mountains; Mount Hood and Mount Adams! We’re taking a longer route this year and will be going over the top of Mount Hood then down Hwy 35 into Hood River then across the Hood River Bridge (the Chapter will pay for the tolls), We'll head east on Highway 14 to Lyle where we'll go up the Klickitat Canyon to the metropolis of Glenwood.
The Detroit Lake Run has been cancelled by the LRC due to road construction on the planned route. It may be rescheduled at a later date.
We will take the back roads to Estacada where we will take a break and top off gas tanks. We will also take a break at the Ripplebrook ranger station. We then proceed along the beautiful Clackamas River to the City of Detroit.
Phil will lead the ride to the Polar Bear Run at Cycle Gear in Portland. From there each person can choose to do one of the 3 official rides or ride with Phil for a continuation of the Chapter ride. Meet at Paradise Harley-Davidson with a full tank of fuel.
