Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release.
We will be heading down to the Tillamook Air Museum for a tour of the facilities. After we will head over to the new Tillamook Creamery building for lunch and some ice cream. We will then head up the coast to hwy 26 for the return home.
This ride takes a little from the Mary's Peak ride and there is beautiful scenery a few twisty roads and a beautiful coast line to look at. Being a mid week ride there should be less traffic than on a weekend so take the day off, or play hooky and join me on this great ride.
Come join us for a ride through the coast range and down the Oregon coast to the Samoa Cookhouse. This will be a four-day three night ride. On the first day, we will ride down the coast to Coos Bay taking in all the Ocean sights, sounds and smells Highway 101 has to offer. On the Second day we will continue down the coast line to Eureka, Ca with a detour to the Redwoods, then have dinner at the Samoa cookhouse.
We will travel up Hwy 30 to Longview. Then take I-5 to Hwy 12 . We will then take WA-7 to WA -706. We will head to Mt Rainier thru Ashford. We will have a picnic lunch once inside the park. Please bring a sack lunch. After lunch we will head to the Paradise visitor center which has an elevation of 5400 feet. Park admission is $55.00 for a season pass or $25.00 for a motorcycle and passenger for seven consecutive days.
Mary's Peak is a ride that was a regular ride in the past but we haven't ridden it in two years.
KSU at 9:30 from Paradise for a leisure ride through Washington, Yamhill, Polk and Benton counties on back roads to Monmouth for a club sponsored lunch in the City park.
