The Baker City run is a 4 day ride. We start at the Sherri's on Hwy 26 in Gresham and ride out over Mt. Hood to Maupin. From there, on to Shaniko, Antelope and Spray, through the John Day fossil bed. Plan on lunch at the Daysville Inn. After lunch, we ride on hwy 7 over the mountains past Sumpter and down to Baker City Oregon. On day two, we will ride the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, with lunch in Joseph and back for dinner at Big Chief's BBQ. On Saturday we will run the Ghost Town Ride.  Lunch will be in Sumpter with a tour of the gold dredge. After that we will return to Bake City for dinner at Barley Browns Brew Pub. On Sunday, we will ride Hwy 26 through the other half of the John Day Fossil Beds with lunch in Prineville. There will be ample breaks as needed. This is a relaxing long ride, and yes, if you would like to spend a day relaxing by the pool or touring Baker City - feel free, you are under no obligation to do all of the rides.
