Veterans Home Ride to The Dalles

This is a great ride in support of the SGT Watts foundation. We will ride over scenic Mt. Hood to visit the Veterans Home in The Dalles to drop off some gifts and personal goods. We will also visit for an hour or so with the residents.

The ride starts at Steelhead H-D on Sunday 5/3/26. We’ll head south on 217 to I-5, north on 205 to Exit 10. Ride along to Clackamas River to Eagle Creek/Sandy Hwy. Then, it’s over Mt Hood to Hwy 35, right on NF 44 to Dufer Valley Rd. Left on Hwy 97 to Columbia View, end at Veteran’s Home. Kickstands down at Veteran’s Home.

After the visit, MikeC will lead those wanting to take I-84 back to dealership.

It's is about 126 miles to the veteran's home and about 98 miles back to SHD via I-84.

Lunch TBD: Possible lunch stop at Big Jim’s Drive-In.
