Leavenworth Overnight Ride

This will be a very active and scenic ride, prepare for a few miles (about 643 over two days), 5 Harley Dealer Checkins, as well as a 2026 15 rides photo check in.

We will meet at Steelhead H-D Saturday at 8:00am for a KSU at 8:30. We take 5 North with stops at 3 dealers for check-ins.   We will have a couple gas/comfort stops and lunch at Dicks! Dicks is one of the greatest Seattle drive Inns ever.

After lunch and all the Freeway (sorry) we head east on Highway 2 to Leavenworth to experience Octoberfest in the Bavarian Village.  Better get a Brat, which can be dinner or snack and dinner at fireside lounge in Cle Elum.  We will be staying the night in Cle Elum.

Numerous hotel options from Econ to luxury are available in Cle Elum, depending on your budget.   I am (Scott) cheap so will be staying at Travelers Inn. It’s walking distance to nightcap, breakfast Cottage Café and Fireside Lounge.

The ride home takes us south to Yakima via a wonderful twisty roadway.  After a quick stop in Yakima, we head west over highway 12 with lunch stop at Roxy’s Roadhouse then continue west to Vader and south to Longview and home via Cornelius Pass to avoid as much freeway as possible.
