The first annual Sunset Chapter Motorcycle Rodeo will be held on Sunday, August 22nd from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Banks High School in Banks, Oregon.

We have the parking lot reserved for our private event and there will be safe parking for motorcycles inside our cordoned-off area.

A free BBQ lunch will be available for all chapter members and guests.

We will have 8 safe and fun riding events which are listed below. These are not hardcore skill riding events. We have designed them for safety, fun, and easy to ride for all rider skill levels. All chapter members will feel comfortable riding these fun events.

Each single lane event will be approximately 50’ long and 6’ - 8’ wide.

Slow Ride ---- The slowest rider wins

Road Kill Clean-up----- 2 person event with a net and try to scoop up as many stuffed animals as you can in 50’

Ball Drop--- try to drop tennis balls into bottles staged along the 50’ lane

Harley Hoops---- think of jousting with a long styrofoam spear and suspended frisbees. The team that collects the most frisbees wins, not as easy as it sounds.

Bite the Dog--- team rides under a suspended cooked hot dog and tries to take a bite of the dog. Again, not as easy as it sounds!

Slalom-- most are 50’ long with cones spaced 8’ apart. Ours will be 100’ long and the cones will be spaced 14’ apart.

Bike Wash---- think of a high jump pole and water balloons. The passenger tosses the balloon over the pole and tries to catch it without breaking.

Circle Slow Ride--- the circle will be 27’ in diameter which will give all skill levels a chance to ride it.

The Banks BBQ will be held on the same day so there will be spectators to watch all the activities at the rodeo.

See you there!
