Overnight Friday ride to Coeur d’Alene Idaho.
Arrive at PHD at 8:30 am
KSU at 9:00 am
Day one will find us taking a relatively scenic route along US-12 to Kennewick, Wa. then ride up 395 into and through Spokane where we will get to our hotel. It will be an 8 hr ride with stops planned for breaks/food etc. Lunch will be along the way at a convenient spot.
Day 2, Saturday, will be a ride around Lake Coeur d’Alene with a lunch stop. The Lone Wolf HOG Chapter from Spokane will meet us and lead us on a ride down the best roads and routes including a lunch spot. They expect this to be a 5-hour ride on twisty roads and a route to avoid heavy traffic.
Day 3 (Father’s Day) Can be a return trip for those who need to get back to work or it can be used to relax and explore the town of Coeur d’Alene, or Spokane itself. I have the rooms held through to Monday morning for those who wish to stay overnight on Sunday.
When you book your room you can adjust your stay for you. Hotel Rooms are being reserved at Best Western, Liberty Lake. The hotel is close to the Lone Wolf (Spokane) HD Dealership and has a restaurant within an easy walk. I have double queens reserved for those who may wish to share costs and single kings are available. Rooms will run $125.00 for either bed choice. Your Best Western Rewards account that is a HOG benefit will apply here for points. If you do not have a BW Rewards account it may be looking into if you like overnight riding/touring. The Hotel has a continental breakfast and a pool/hot tub that will be open for use in small groups. The hotel’s phone number is 509-755-1111 and the point of contact is John Helwich. When you call to reserve your room, tell him you are with the Sunset HOG Chapter from Tigard,
