The ride will leave PHD at 8:00 AM on Friday, Aug 25. The First night stay will be in
Wenatchee Washington. On Saturday we’ll ride to Leavenworth and spend the day there
shopping and having fun. At the end of the day will be back at the hotel in Wenatchee for
the night. On Sunday the 27

th we’ll leave for Paradise in the Rainier National Park and eat lunch
and look around the Mt. Ranier visitors center. The park entrance fee for motorcycles is $25.
We’ll then leave and go to Packwood Washington where we’ll spend the final night. Monday
morning we’ll return home. Hotel information is shown below.
Please call the hotels and claim one of the rooms we reserved right away. Once you have
claimed one of the reserved rooms for yourself by using your own credit card, notify either Dale
Hembree or Bob Driscoll so we can track how many rooms are still available for others
to reserve. Dale and I have reserved only a few rooms at each stay. Once all rooms have been
reserved, if you didn’t get one, you must make your own hotel arrangements. The
rooms have a 24 hour cancellation requirement policy so I will cancel any rooms not reserved, 4
days before the ride start. If I don’t cancel the rooms my card would be charged for the rooms.
When making your reservations be sure to let them know you are with the Sunset Chapter so that
you will get your discounted rate.
Each room reserved has two queen beds so you can reduce your costs greatly by sharing a room.
I suggest that you put these hotels and contact information in your phone contacts in case you
need them for future use.
