Ron G. has been collecting donations to support our veterans. Please join Gary in riding to the Oregon Veterans home in The Dalles to deliver the donation on behalf of our Sunset Chapter on Saturday, November 14th, to thank and honor our veterans. Lunch will be before going to the veteran's home at Big Jim's Driven In or you can bring a brown bag lunch.

We are still taking donations, here is a list of items you might consider donating at PHD:

Newspaper Subscriptions
Woodworking Supplies
Individually packaged snacks: microwave popcorn, cookies, doughnuts, flavored coffee creamers and soda pop
Toiletry items (unused): aftershave, lotion, hairspray, shampoo & conditioner
CD Players/Radios (portable), Music CDs
DVD/Blu-Ray Players
Sweatpants: sizes M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL & 4XL (sweatshirts not needed)
Large Dominoes
Birthday Supplies (balloons, string, signs)
Large-piece Puzzles (under 300 pieces)
Gardening Supplies
Trivia Books
Batteries, (AA, AAA, C, D)
Phone Cards
Non-alcoholic Beer (O’Doul’s, Coors Cutter, etc.)
Electric Razors (Norelco, Remington, etc.)
Hearing Aid Batteries
Travel Documentaries (DVD/Blu-ray)
"Forever" Postage Stamps

Our veterans love mail as much if not more than we do ~ If you have a moment write them a note of appreciation.

Cards and donations will be collected at PHD until November 13th and will be delivered on November 14th.
