Bucket of Blood overnight ride to Virginia City, NV

Details subject to change, additional details will be announced in the near future.

This is an epic 4-day ride to the famous Bucket of Blood Saloon in Virginia City.

The ride will cover about 1500 miles. Expect early morning departures and long riding days. Since this is a late June ride, anticipate all kinds of weather so pack accordingly.

Warnings - On day 2 there will be 175 miles between gas stops. Bikes with small gas tanks are not recommended. Also, motels we are staying at are very small. If you are going on the ride please make your reservations early. I have not saved any rooms; you are on your own to make reservations.

Day 1 398 miles 8 hours. We will ride down the scenic Oregon Coast, down the Tiller and Deadman Highways to our first overnight stop at the Wild Goose Lodge in Merrill Oregon.

Day 2 260 miles 5 hours. From Merrill to Reno with a stop at Reno Harley Davidson then on to Virginia City. Our Viginia City overnight stay is at the Sugar Loaf Motel, walking distance to downtown.

Day 3 360 miles 7 hours. We will ride to Arcada on the California Coast with stops along the way at Lassen Volcanic Park and Trinity National Forest.

Day 4 460 miles 9.5 hours. We head north through the Redwoods, back roads to Wolf Creek Pass and back home on I5.
