Ride 47

This is a ride with a lot of variety. We will ride through some wonderful twisty westside mountain roads and pass through several small towns. The ride will be about 7 hours or so with stops and will cover 175 miles. We will leave PHD, head out hwy 26, and head north on Cornelius Pass Rd. We will head west on Hwy 30 to Clatskanie where we will stop for comfort. Next, it's hwy 47 south to Vernonia for fuel and lunch at the Black Iron Grill. After lunch, we'll get back on Hwy 47 to Hwy 26 for a few miles then turn south on Hwy 47 through Banks.

Newport Chowder Run

A lunch ride covering 251 miles through the south-central valley to Newport for some great chowder. Starting from PHD, we'll head out to hwy 47 and through McMinnville. We'll take hwy 22 then hwy 223 stopping in Dallas for fuel and comfort. Next stop is at the Chowder Bowl for lunch in Newport (Nye Beach). After lunch, we'll head north on hwy 101 to Lincoln City and take hwy 18 to McMinnville with a stop at Grand Ronde for fuel and comfort. Then it's on to Newberg and hwy 99 for our return to PHD.
